“Nothing grows old faster than the new.”
Marcel Wanders

In a world that chases fleeting trends, we choose to slow down, to research, to create textiles designed to last—not just for their quality, but for their intrinsic value, their ability to cross epochs without losing meaning.
Ancient Memories is the evolution of this philosophy: a journey through materials and memory, exploring how textiles can tell timeless stories.

The Traveling Sofa
An Italian-made sofa with a lifetime of stories, this piece has traveled with Camilla and Michael Fischbacher from St. Gallen to L.A., Tokyo, and now Milan.
Originally white, it became a canvas for their children’s creativity, with green doodles and paint adding a charming layer to its well-loved history. Since then, it has been reupholstered several times, adapting to its many new homes.

The Danish Chair
Originally discovered in a flea market, this 1950s Danish chair has been continuously reupholstered, showcasing how enduring design is about preserving quality, not chasing trends.

The Hand-Carved Set
This one-of-a-kind card table and chair set was meticulously hand-carved in the 1960s by Christian Fischbacher IV, who had a deep passion for furniture-making. A truly unique piece, it has been reupholstered over time, preserving its artistry while adapting to new generations.

The Kopp Chair
A family heirloom from the early 1900s, this chair once belonged to Michael’s great-aunt from his mother’s side of the family. The Kopp family were also a textile family in Switzerland. Reupholstered several times over the years, it has been featured in photoshoots, continuing its legacy as a well-loved and ever-evolving piece.

The Family Chair
Passed down through generations of the Fischbacher family, this late 1800s wooden chair embodies the philosophy of longevity: well-crafted, well-loved, and built to last.
Upholstered in INFINITE PATINA

The Shiraz Sofa
Inspired by Persian seating culture, the Shiraz sofa by e15 is a modular system that blends tradition with contemporary design. Having played a role in our Hadi Teherani collection, then reupholstered with BENU MOUNTAIN, it now transforms once again for Ancient Memories. Draped in our latest textiles, Shiraz becomes a vessel for stories—where past and present intertwine, and fabric breathes new life into form.
